A free program to create and manage geneological information.

OhmiGene is a program to create and manage geneological information, family trees, etc. It is a multilingual program (at the moment only available in English and French). It also has multiplatform support so that if you create an OhmiGene database in Windows, you can also access it in Mac or Linux. All the data is saved in the database with UTF8 codification so that you can use different alphabets.

As for using the information, OhmiGene offers a series of complete possibilities. There are modules to work on surnames, names, places, documents, sources and data, etc. There are also modules to mix contexts and find coincidences or duplicates. The program has capacity for family trees of up to 7 generations, and you can move freely around them.
